Mark Dalton (born Jeremy James Sons,[1] also known as Jeremy James Son)[3] is an American pornographic actor (porn star) who has appeared in same-sex adult films and pornographic magazines.[4][5][6] His work in same-sex adult films to date has not involved any sexual acts with another man; Dalton has only masturbated on screen.
He identifies himself as heterosexual.[7] He began his career dancing in Miami, Florida, and has danced at many Miami nightclubs.[6][8][9]

An avid bodybuilder, Dalton has appeared in bodybuilding ("muscle" or "fitness") magazines as well as erotic and/or pornographic publications.[8] Dalton was "a pole vault champion at the University of North Texas, as well as a football player at a small Christian school."[8] He won state championships in both sports.[10] He began filming solo videos and went on to pose for "a slew of mags, from HX to Instinct.[8] According to his website, Dalton's appearances in adult magazines have not been limited to same-sex publications; the site states that he has appeared on the back cover of an issue of Playgirl magazine and was included in its "100 Sexiest Men Alive" in 2002, ranking in the top 50.[11]
Dalton appeared on the cover of the July 2002 of Men[12] and was selected as "Man of the Year" for 2002.[13][14] He appeared on the cover of the July 2006 issue of Unzipped;[15] he was also cover model for the 2003 Adam Gay Video Directory, the definitive guide to gay pornographic films.
In 2002, Dalton was convicted of possession of the drug GHB.[3] In 2004, a female friend, Marcy Lopez, testified that he had assaulted her and a judge revoked Dalton's probation and sentenced him to 5 years in prison.[1] After serving thirteen months of his sentence, he was released on parole in November 2005.[1] Speaking to a reporter from the Dallas Voice, a local LGBT newspaper, he stated that the worst part of being in prison was not being able to work out and the "horrible food". Dalton said that he would cut down on partying and hoped to return to work modeling in bodybuilding magazines and acting in videos.[3]
In 2007, Dalton's manager, David Forest, confirmed that Dalton has been re-arrested and incarcerated in Denton County Jail related to a 31 May 2007 altercation;[1] he was charged with Assault/Family Violence and interfering with a 911 call. He made $7500 bail but failed to report the arrest to his parole officer, and a warrant was issued for his arrest from the parole office 11 June. Two days after his parole arrest (13 June), he was transferred to the county facility, but as of Forest's arrest confirmation no charges had been filed.
The Dallas Voice reported in August 2006 that Dalton and fellow porn performer Zeb Atlas were making a film that they hoped to release by December 14. Dalton hails from Denton, Texas, and his agent said that parts of the project were to be filmed in North Texas. Mark Meets Zeb: The Texas Two Step was released in Summer 2007.[16] He was featured as "Mr. April" in the "2009 Abs-olutely Hot 15-month wall calendar".[17] In July 2009 he was again the cover model for Unzipped.[18] In summer 2009 he launched a tour "Mark Dalton Live: Bustin' Out All Over".[19] Commenting on doing porn scenes with other men Dalton noted his involvement in Mark Meets Zeb: The Texas Two Step, "Making it was okay, but I wrote the screenplay and choreographed my scenes and got no credit for it. Let’s just say that a lot of factors didn’t work out as planned.”[20] In late 2009 Dalton wrapped filming on Jet Set Productions' 2010 release Getting Levi's Johnston.[21][22]
Dalton started his own company to produce and control the quality of his work.[10] According to a Lavender Lounge interview "[W]ith his own company, and no outside investors, he is fully involved in producing movies, a website, dancing in clubs and occasional escorting."[10] As of 2009 he is searching for "high caliber gay and straight guys who have never been seen in porn before" for his own brand within the mainly same-sex muscle porn genre.[10] "He envisions a whole stable of hot guys to be part of the "Muscle Stud Club" on his web site and appear in his videos."[10]
